“JAR Construction has carried out several jobs in our home including plastering, tiling and joinery. Joe is a quality craftsman and a perfectionist, and his team hold the same high standards. JAR has delivered high quality finishes inside our bespoke oak porch, kitchen and most recently a complete refurbishment of our living room. Joe is articulate and an excellent communicator, giving regular updates. Everything was clear and explained in a way that we understood enabling decisions to be made quickly and effectively. We would not hesitate to recommend JAR Construction.”

“We are absolutely thrilled with our beautiful bathroom and Joe was a delight to work with. He helped us come up with creative solutions to some tricky design decisions and once he got started on the build there was no stopping him – a very hard worker! His project management was brilliant and his sub contractors were as friendly and proactive as he was. His attention to detail is excellent and the finished product is first class. We can’t wait to ask him to do our next project.”

“We employed Joe’s services to renovate our downstairs shower room. From the outset Joe really listened to what we had envisioned but he also provided helpful suggestions to help us achieve the perfect balance between style and practicality, which we had previously struggled with. Joe’s skills and personality are a rare find. Joe is personable, easy to talk to, and his work ethic is second to none. We couldn’t be happier with the result and we have had so many compliments on the shower room. We would highly recommend Joe.”

The finish on the job is really beautiful. Joe communicates well, explaining things clearly and patiently as needed. Elements of the job were so well thought through that it exceeded our expectations. Committed and reliable, he met a deadline we had asked for in advance, with time to spare. Really impressed and looking forward to having his help for future projects.”

He will discuss your requirements in detail and offer options & practical solutions, based on his professional judgement and experience. “I would have no hesitations recommending Joe. He is my go-to and I wouldn’t trust anyone else to do the job. Over the years he has completed a brand-new kitchen (stripped out the old and fitted/plumbed a new one), removed and replaced a ceiling, plastered, fitted coving and painted ceiling/walls. He is an absolute perfectionist, his attention to detail is next-level and he will not rest and complete the job until he is 111% happy.”

Joe converted our garage into an office/studio and did a brilliant job. His quote was clear and sensible, and he explained everything in detail — the pros and cons of each approach, and exactly where we needed to decide. Communication was great throughout, the project management was spot on, and the work was finished to a high standard. Couldn’t recommend him more.
